First (Official) Tooth Lost by Bo

March 2014:
Bo lost his first official tooth this month.  He had a couple of teeth pulled earlier in the year, but this one was the first one to fall out on its own.  Bo was excited to get $3 from the Tooth Fairy for losing his third tooth.

During the month of March, Bo also got to watch the USA Rugby team compete against

Uruguay.  He was excited to see the USA win!

ESP Big Hearts

Bo had the chance to make another dancing debut, this time in front of nearly 2,000 people at Extra Special People's Big Hearts Pageant.  Tyler was helping to host the event and they included Bo in a small part for fun too.  Bo was pretending to be a younger version of Tyler.  Bo's courage amazes me!!  He definitely gets his ability to perform from his daddy!

As Molly continues to grow, we are enjoying her show the smart and silly sides to her personality!

 She's learned to read all of the words on the left side of her word board, and she's working on learning the other ones.

Winter 2014

 This winter we had two different weeks of snow--one in January and the other about two weeks later.  Bo couldn't get enough of the winter weather, but Molly and I preferred staying warm inside.  Sledding was just about the only thing Molly was willing to brave the outdoors to do.

 

 

 

 
 

After spending hours outside sledding (risking injury with every trip down the hill), Bo came in and not five minutes after he got changed into warm clothes, he slipped in the kitchen and banged his head on the granite counter tops.   Fortunately Tyler was there to bandage him up.  When it comes to my kids bleeding, I'm a mess.

Bo brought this home from Sunday School to show us everything that he learned about the bible that day.

Upward Basketball 2014

Bo LOVED playing on the Cheetahs team for the Winter 2014 basketball season with Tyler as his coach. At his level, they didn't keep score at the games and they mostly focused on learning the fundamentals of the game as well as learning life lessons from bible stories that they studied before the games.  He practiced basketball quite a bit at home, and he really got better as the season progressed.  Bo's biggest fans (us) were very proud!
